I've had this idea for a while and I'm glad it turned out well. I loved to draw eyes and the reflection in the iris. The skyline of the city scape forms the exterior of the eye and the city scape in the pupil is 3-D. I used acrylic paint and water color. not sure about the background but I love the colors for the eye.

I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and do some lose harry lines that gave strong contrast. I was inspired by M. C. Esher with the hands drawing the skull. I tried using graphite to get strong contrast and sharpie for the darkest shadows.

I used this still life to break away from my usual fantasy landscapes. I tried to concentrate on shadows and lights. I had this still life just siting around so it seemed like a good way to draw perspective. The patterning was fun and I liked adding detail in the table cloth.

breath #8 : calculus punch!

I'm thinking of doing a series of these.....any way I've always wanted to do video game concept art and in this piece I chose to do an arcade style of fighting. I took photos of the room but not of Mrs Kimmer. I used prisma markers and watercolors. what teacher should i draw next?

I tried using ink this time with a Chinese inspired flare to it. I studied Chinese water color for a week before i started this endeavor. I drew out the entire composition on water color paper with pen then i laid a piece of rice paper over the drawing and traced each fish that i had drawn on the previous paper with a paint brush dipped in jet black ink. The final step was giving each fish color which i did in regular water colors.

I think this #5 or it could be 6. I tried Art Nouveau but i still have to go back into it and connect the lines or give it some kind of structure. Used prisma markers and sharpie

I have 10 racks full of shoes and I only wear one pair. I used prisma marker and pen, but I drew it out in pencil first. The bag and the blue high heels were so much fun to draw. I feel like i have to work on the bottom half though or i could cut it off......either way its gotta go. A ruler was used to draw the bars and I play with perspective giving the illusion of looking from above, even though I was sitting underneath it.
