One word topic: Mental-illness
Sentence: I want to illustrate mental-illness through structure.
This year in the 2-d visual art portfolio I would like to illustrate the variations of mental illness through structure. I have always been interested in psychology starting with the mental health of children, but then as I delved deeper into the study of mental illness it occurred to me that mental health is a dynamic process. As the year continues I may chose to show specific mental disorders and the descent into darkness of mental chaos or show an extreme situation of mental instability in the beginning and illustrate intervention that can result in coping or healing.
